Terms of Use
The rules for using Richy as a parent or responsible adult.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
1. Using Richy
By creating an account or using Richy, you agree to these Terms. Richy is intended to be managed by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult on behalf of a learner.
2. Educational purpose
Richy provides educational practice and progress information. It is not a medical device, diagnostic service, clinical assessment, speech and language therapy service or substitute for professional healthcare or educational advice. If you have concerns about a learner's development, communication, health or safety, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, keeping your password secure and activity carried out through your account. Do not share account access with anyone who should not have access to the learner's information.
4. Learner information
You must have an appropriate basis to provide learner information to Richy. Keep learner information proportionate and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.
5. AI-generated and automated content
Richy uses automated and AI-assisted systems for features such as speech recognition, answer evaluation, generated speech and learning content. These systems can make mistakes. Parents should use judgement when reviewing learning material and progress information, and report any unsuitable or incorrect question so it can be reviewed.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Richy, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, upload malicious material, abuse automated features, scrape the service at scale, or use Richy in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
7. Availability and changes
Richy may change, improve, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed.
8. Intellectual property
The Richy service, branding, software, interface and original learning materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the service for its intended personal learning purpose; they do not transfer ownership of Richy materials or software.
9. Account and learner deletion
You can archive or permanently delete learner profiles and can permanently delete the parent account using the controls provided in My Account. Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
10. Responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Richy is provided on an “as available” basis and is not responsible for decisions made solely from automated learning results, indirect losses, or problems caused by third-party services outside Richy's reasonable control.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
